IABTI’s Webinar Wednesdays is a monthly series of one-hour (or more) online training sessions, typically held on the last Wednesday of each month at 12:00 PM Eastern Time. These webinars feature subject matter experts from our community presenting topics relevant to bomb technicians, investigators, explosives detection K9 officers, and other public safety professionals. Topics include bombing case studies, post-blast investigations, evolving threats, technology, canine operations, and bomb squad TTPs.

Launched in Spring 2020 during the COVID shutdown, Webinar Wednesdays has become a valuable way to deliver timely, relevant training and foster information sharing and networking. Since its inception, IABTI has hosted over 80 webinars and built an online Training On-Demand video library with more than 40 presentations—providing over 65 hours of training material. The Training On-Demand library continues to expand with new monthly content from live Webinar Wednesdays. Webinar Wednesdays and the Training On-Demand library both support continuing education requirements by providing certificates of training.
